On March 1st the Pemberton Township Police Safe Neighborhoods Unit, Narcotics Unit and K-9
Unit in conjunction with members of the New Jersey State Police TEAMS "C" Unit and N.J.S.P. K-9
Unit executed two (2) simultaneous Drug Raids in the Sunbury Village section of Pemberton
Township Saturday night and netted a total of four (4) suspects and seized a quantity of
narcotics, cash and a vehicle.

These search warrants were the result of narcotics investigations in which the sale and
purchases of Controlled Dangerous Substances were taking place. While executing the warrant
at 190 Kinsley Road, officers arrested residents Jermaine Sutton and Tiaisha Houston and
seized crack cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials and approximately $3,500 in cash. Officers
also seized a 1999 Dodge Durango which Sutton had used during CDS transactions. This vehicle
had been previously seized from Sutton for similar CDS activity. While officers were at the
location conducting the raid and search of the residence, suspect William Neal showed up at the
residence and was arrested and charged with loitering to obtain or purchase a Controlled
Dangerous Substance.

At the second location, 196 Kinsley Road, officers arrested Cornell Sutton, seized a quantity of
crack cocaine, knife, fireworks and approximately $2,700.00 cash.

Location # 1 - 190 Kinsley Road, Sunbury Village Section of Pemberton Township.

ACCUSED 1 - Jermaine Sutton, 190 Kinsley Road, 28 years old. Charged with Possession of
Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with intent to distribute; Possession of Marijuana
and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Suspect posted $10,000.00 Bail.

ACCUSED 2 - Tiaisha Houston, 190 Kinsley Road, 26 years old. Charged with Possession of
Marijuana and released on summons.

ACCUSED 3 - William Neal, 195 Kinsley Road, 44 years old. Charged with Loitering to Obtain
Controlled Dangerous Substance and wanted on outstanding warrants. He was released on
summons


Location #2 - 196 Kinsley Road,. Sunbury Village Section of Pemberton Township.

ACCUSED 1 - Cornell Sutton, 196 Kinsley Road, 31 years old. Charged with Possession of Crack
Cocaine; Possession of Crack Cocaine with intent to Distribute; Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia; Unlawful Possession of Fireworks; Possession of a Weapon (Knife) for Unlawful
Purposes and Certain Persons not to have Weapons. Suspect posted $10,000.00 Bail.

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP – A 36 – year old Pemberton Township man was arrested March 20
and charged with a laundry list of offenses following an assault and robbery in the Sunbury
Village section of the township, according to information released today by the Pemberton
Township Police Department.

Shortly before 9 p.m. - the assailant, Lamont Brown, Kingsley Road reportedly punched a 33 -
year old male in the head, and grabbed a gold chain hanging around the victim’s neck before
fleeing.

Police officers from the Pemberton Township Patrol division, Safe Neighborhoods Unit and the
Departments K-9 unit, as well as officers from the Pemberton Boro Police Department responded
to the scene.
Brown was tracked to a near by home. The suspect attempted to flee the home, according to
police officials but was stopped by officers positioned for security at the rear of the building. He
ran back into the residence refusing repeated orders from police to surrender.

At that point K-9 officer Justin Kreig released his K-9 partner Bandit unto the home. Police
entered the residence where Bandit found Brown attempting to hide behind a furnace and hot
water heater. Police said Brown fought his arrest and had to be physically restrained before he
could be taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of narcotics and other drug
paraphernalia.

Brown was charged with Robbery, Resisting Arrest, and possession of Crack Cocaine and
Narcotics Paraphernalia.  He is lodged in Burlington County Jail on $25,000 bail.
